I am active in the Seattle area as a music teacher and am grateful for the opportunity to work with students of all levels and approaches on their musical endeavors.  I've been teaching privately and in ensemble settings since 2008. I began my teaching experiences at the University of Washington in 2008.  I have experience as a private teacher and ensemble director for students of all levels. I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelors degree in Jazz Studies and Masters Degree in Music Composition. I whole-heartedly believe consistency, open-heartedness, and trust are essential elements in a successful student-teacher relationship.

Currently I am an Instructor at Creative Music Adventures in Wallingford. I also teach my own group of private students at my home in North Seattle. Feel free to inquire at CreativeMusicAdventures or get in touch directly at contact@ivanarteagamusic.com for home lessons.
